The University Hospital Sharjah has announced that it is introducing an advanced technology center for plastic surgery and is bringing to the UAE the most famous plastic surgeon in South Korea, Dr. Hyung Joo Noh, who has been known worldwide for his leading methods and unique ability to perform complex surgeries. The latest development is in line with the hospital’s efforts to expand its facilities and healthcare services to the community as well as its pool of highly qualified medical professionals.
Dr. Noh is the first and only Korean plastic surgeon in the UAE and the region certified to practice his profession, following a medical license granted by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. With an increasing number of patients from Arab countries, Dr. Noh decided to extend his services in the UAE. He has been notably serving patients as well in other parts of the world including China and Kazakhstan.
Dr. Noh said: “It is an honor for me to become part of the UAE’s medical community which is known for its highly qualified professionals from many parts of the world. Through the huge support extended to me by the University Hospital Sharjah led by Dr. Ali Obaid Al Ali, I am keen to become a significant contributor to meet the increasing demand in cosmetic surgery in the country. I look forward as well to impart my knowledge and skills throughout the region through training and share the latest Korean medical techniques in the field, including my own expertise.”
The Korean doctor cited that previously the trend among patients was to imitate facial features of celebrities and would request for dramatic changes in their original features, but this has changed and patients are now more keen to look natural and focus instead on having perfectly smooth and young-looking skin. He performs cosmetic treatments such as Botox& filler injection as well as minimally invasive procedures such as thread lifting and face lifting.
The famous surgeon can also perform the most advanced methods in plastic surgery and has specialties in anti-aging treatments, abdominal surgeries, breast augmentation, tummy tuck and body contouring. The new center can also accommodate all types of skin rehabilitation needs such as scar revision treatments, ptosis or blepharoptosis, and cleft lip and cleft palate.

These expansions, including Dr. Noh’s arrival into UHS, were made possible through the hospital’s partnership with MMK Global, a professional business consulting and marketing company in UAE healthcare industry.
Dr. Noh owns a plastic surgery clinic in Seoul Gangnam, ‘The Class &Mizain Plastic Surgery Clinic’. In the UAE, he is set to begin operating his clinic at UHS starting November 15, 2020 until 10 December 2020 and will offer a special pre-opening discount of up to 50 per cent on consultation to all patients during the first two weeks. The clinic will officially launch in January 2021.
